Long time no see

As the title says! Had a rollercoaster of various work and health related issues since before Christmas really, didn't have the opportunity to finish commissions until recently and I JUST finished going through my inbox haha! Anyway, I'm back on track and planning on opening more commissions as I got my K-1 visa approved! Moving to America in May! Wooooooo

A lil bit of an Update

to be exact), and since then I have received a slew of commissions to do! Really really do appreciate it friends.But I wanted to post an update to my woes, and so far I haven't had any more dental issues (and that is, SO FAR), things seem to be calm in my teeth at the moment and I may get a reduction on a future appointment. I was very worried I had a lot of issues in my mouth and if the private clinic was the only ones to care, I'd have to shell out a tonne of more money than I already had, but the treatment they gave me didn't cost as much and wasn't as extensive as I thought, so everything extra has gone towards my move to America. And speaking of which..
Our petition was approved! So that adds like.. a lot more expenses to my plate haha. I also have to go all the way across the country to get a medical exam done and then all the way to Stockholm in Sweden to get the interview done, so travel expenses as well. I'll probably scrape by (barely), but anything extra that I can get through commissions is very much appreciated.

I'll start with the good news, which is: I found out what the problem with my tablet was! It's the mini usb wire, I tested it with my PS3 controller and it barely stayed connected. So I'll be getting a new one soon and hopefully I won't need to buy an entirely new tablet for a few more years at least.
And now for the bad news: So, I've always had some sort of teeth sensitivity for a long time (you know, the kind where you can't just bite straight into ice cream and all lol), but in the past year or so, it's gotten increasingly worse to the point of being unable to eat or drink. I have to be careful with the things I consume cuz if I don't watch it, I'll experience massive pains that knock out my hearing briefly too. And it's not just sweets, it's cold food, hot food, liquids, solids, anything, even room tempered stuff can get painful (although not as much). I can't even brush my teeth without pain.
I've been visiting my dentist on at least two occasions this year (and once or twice to the dental nurse) and every time I've been told to just brush my teeth with fluoride. It's the same kind of bullshit they've been preaching for years and years and I just don't think that's the problem anymore (cuz yes I have actually used plenty of fluoride mouthwashes and toothpastes). I know there's not much you can do about sensitive teeth, but I think there's more to it this time around considering the extent of the pain and the onset of the new pain. Yet they don't take me seriously, I even have dental tartar which is obvious cuz I've got a few lines of white hard stuff at the bottom of my teeth and the dentist I went to said I had nothing lmao?? Which is why I've decided to switch to a private dentist.
I called today and got an appointment on Thursday, so that's already an improvement by several months lmao. The problem however, is that it's gonna cost a lot of money. The initial round is gonna be $100 alone (first time examination with xrays), and if it's as bad as I fear it is, it'll be twice that amount or even more. It's gonna really sting my wallet, but I have to do it for my own sake, this pain has caused me shocks where I've actually been unable to do anything for the rest of the day (stuttering, unable to talk, uncontrollable shaking etc) and it's a necessity at this point. But like I said, it's a lot of money, so I was hoping I could open up emergency commissions to cover it, though I'm not sure what would work the best for you guys. I would like to hear some feedback on what is preventing you from commissioning me as it is, if it's cuz of my limited types or if it's the prices, let me know.
TL;DR - I have upcoming dental bills that's gonna take a toll on me financially and I would like to open emergency commissions. Any feedback surrounding that is appreciated!

Art Theft

Update: Thief has been dealt with, whew.
I'm apparently popular enough to have my art stolen! Only took 4 months. Anyway, I didn't make a journal to out the person (yet), more so to create awareness and to ask you: if you see my art somewhere and you believe it has been stolen, let me know!
